RV1 Training Solutions are delighted to offer this one day upgrade qualification for those who have previously completed FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health. This qualification will provide you with the knowledge to recognise a wide range of mental health conditions and learn about the support/therapy provided by professional healthcare providers.

Aims

-Enhance knowledge of mental health illnesses already covered in the Level 2 course
-Understand the causes, signs and symptoms and treatments and therapies available for the following mental health illnesses:
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Bipolar Disorders
Personality Disorder
Schizophrenia
-Understand the support/therapy provided by professional healthcare providers

Assessment information

The assessment will be done through Q&A discussion via zoom. Learners must successfully pass all parts of the assessment to be awarded the qualification.
